The Cold Climate conference series was founded by SCANVAC in 1994 and has been held every two years since 2021. Sustainability and digitalization have become critical issues in today’s societal development. Building on the SCANVAC conference’s traditional focus on HVAC system performance and healthy indoor climates, this year’s conference has added new topics, including renewable energy, sustainable district heating and cooling.

All contributions are welcome! The conference is now open to all scientists and technologists to call for high-quality, original and excellent academic papers in English. Accepted submissions are required to be presented at the conference and will be published in the conference proceedings. Selected submissions from CCHVAC & Energy 2025 will be recommended for further consideration of publication in SCI special issues.
